Through the Special Collections Unit at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, this online exhibit was created in the fall semester of 2010. Graduate Assistant Evan Faulkenbury, under the guidance of Katie McCormick, Assistant University Librarian for Special Collections, researched and constructed this project as part of a physical exhibit within the J. Murrey Atkins Library. All materials published are located in Special Collections at UNC Charlotte.

 

This exhibit is not a comprehensive history of all presidential visits ever made to Charlotte, but is intended to offer a visual aid in order to experience an important piece of the city's past.
